Westaff’s Privacy Policy has been created as a result of

Disclosures Westaff may disclose personal information for the purposes of which it is primarily held or for a related secondary purpose. In some cases Westaff may only disclose information with the Associates (Candidate or Client) consent. Westaff may disclose personal information where we are under a legal duty to do so, including circumstances where we are under a lawful duty of care. Westaff will only provide information pertaining to employment history, positions held and duties performed, should Westaff be nominated as a candidate’s referee. Enquiries and Complaints Associates can make further enquiries or complaints about Westaff’s Privacy Policies or Westaff’s handling of personal information to our National Human Resources Manager located at: Level 3, 100 Albert Road South Melbourne, Victoria 3205 Associates can also make enquiries or complaints to the Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner. Access Subject to some exceptions that are set out in the National Privacy Principles, Associates of Westaff can gain access to personal information we hold about them. Westaff can refuse access if it would interfere with the privacy rights of other persons or if it breaches any confidentiality that is attached to that information. Should an Associate of Westaff wish to obtain access to their personal information, they should contact our Operations Co-ordinator. Associates will need to be in a position to verify their identity. Associates should also anticipate that it may take time to process their application for access, as there may be a need to retrieve information from storage for review in order to determine what information may be provided.
