To fulfill our obligations Westaff conduct regular worksite safety assessments and provide comprehensive inductions for all of our employees.

We realise that facilitating open communication is vital. It is crucial that all parties holding a duty of care be advised of any changes to the worksite or the job roles being performed and that all incidents are communicated in a timely manner.

Our aim is to work alongside our partners to ensure that all employees are placed in a SAFE and HEALTHY work environment at all times. Our commitment to safety is reflective of our focus on PEOPLE. This commitment extends to ensuring the organisation's operations do not place the local community at risk of injury or illness.

Inductions

Westaff temporary staff undertake a thorough induction process that outlines the nature of temporary work and their role within it; Westaff's and the temporary's obligations under occupational health and safety legislation; the likely duties involved in the temporary assignments they may be offered; timesheet and payroll procedures; Westaff's policies and procedures for discrimination, harassment and dispute resolution; and injury management procedures in the event of a work related injury.

In addition, temporary candidates are required to view an OH&S video or CD-ROM on work safety essentials and complete a 20-question assessment to ensure their understanding.

Westaff partners with our clients to ensure a seamless induction process that includes familiarisation with our clients' worksites. We tailor our approach to suit individual client requirements.
